Description

Description

The power distributor with a stackable, splash-proof housing made of a special rubber compound for continuous load with 2m oil-resistant RN cable (H07RN-F 5G2.5) impresses with its quality and safety in all areas. The construction power distributor serves to increase safety for people and the environment on construction sites thanks to the type B residual current device. This RCD is based on the VDE 0100-704:2018-10 standard and will ensure even more safety on construction sites in the future. The type B residual current device is required because smooth or nearly smooth DC residual currents occur that are not detected by a type A residual current device. Comprehensive personal and system protection is therefore only guaranteed with an all-current sensitive residual current device type B. The extremely robust, impact-resistant, ageing and weatherproof power distributor with certified automatic circuit breaker for your safety is also resistant to various oils, greases, petrol and acids, UV and ozone radiation and also impresses with the following properties:

  • With RCD (type B all-current sensitive) -personal protection switch 30 mA for more safety
  • Temperature resistance of the enclosure -30 °C to +80 °C
  • Oil-resistant rubber cable for permanent outdoor use
  • Cable designation: H07RN-F 5G2.5
  • Cable length: 2m
  • Protection class: IP44
  • Number of poles (FI): 4
  • Number of circuit breakers: 3 (3x LS 230V/16A 1-pole/-pin)
  • Plug system plug: CEE 16A 3P+N+PE (5p) 400V
  • CEE socket - 16 A: CEE 2x 16A 3P+N+PE (5p) 400V
  • Earthed sockets: 5

A residual current circuit breaker (RCD) is an electrical protective device used primarily to protect against electric shocks. The RCD detects the difference between the incoming and outgoing current in a circuit. If a fault current occurs, for example due to an insulation fault or a current flow via an unwanted discharge such as a person, the RCD switches off the circuit. This significantly reduces the risk of electric shock or fire caused by a fault current. When used as personal protection, a residual current device must trip and interrupt the circuit at a residual current of 30mA at the latest.
