Multi Battery becomes Multi Battery Pro

The first multi-battery system for work lighting was launched in 2021. The basic principle remains unchanged with the new generation: Professional brennenstuhl® work lights can be powered by 18V batteries from different power tool manufacturers thanks to interface technology. The Multi Battery 18V System Pro represents the next stage of development. The technologically enhanced interface is complemented by new lighting solutions for professional use.

Pro interface for even greater flexibility

A key feature of the new generation is the enhanced brennenstuhl® adapter interface. The optimised mounting system provides a more secure connection between the battery and adapter. For Bosch Professional and AMPShare 18V batteries, the interface is integrated directly into the work light, eliminating the need for a separate brennenstuhl® adapter. Our guide “What is the brennenstuhl® Multi Battery 18V System Pro?” explains how the new interface and Multi Battery Pro system work in detail.

The new brennenstuhl® Pro battery adapters are used for compatible 18V batteries from other power tool manufacturers. The system remains compatible with 18V batteries from ten power tool manufacturers: Bosch Professional, Dewalt, Einhell, Fein, Festool, Flex, Hikoki, Makita, Metabo CAS and Milwaukee. Flexibility is only one part of the concept; the other is battery safety. brennenstuhl® places particular emphasis on the safe use of power tool batteries. The technological protection system helps prevent deep discharge and overheating caused by high load currents. The battery, interface, electronics and work light are considered as one complete system, with the aim of providing a robust and reliable solution for professional applications.

Two new product highlights from November 2026

The Professional Multi Battery Pro LED work light AL MB 2000 A continues the compact and robust design of the first Multi Battery generation while offering straightforward operation: insert the battery, switch on and get straight to work. Bosch Professional battery users in particular benefit from the integrated interface, allowing them to connect their battery and start working immediately.

The Professional Multi Battery Pro modular hand lamp MX MB 18 A TRA combines three lighting solutions in one base unit. With interchangeable light attachments, it can be used as a powerful COB work light, a low-glare 360° area light or a focusable torch, depending on the task. The appropriate attachment can be changed in a single movement, just as quickly as the battery.

The updates introduced with the Pro generation do not end here. Further additions to the brennenstuhl® Multi Battery 18V System Pro range will follow. As the next step, existing brennenstuhl® multi-battery LED work lights will be upgraded to the new adapter interface and will be available from spring 2027.
