CRI lamps: Optimal light for precise work

Optimal lighting for professional surface assessment: simulation of daylight with CRI worklights

Especially for the use of painters or varnishers in workshops, brennenstuhl® also offers CRI work lights with a function to control the light colour or colour temperature in its lighting range. The visual effect is as if the light colour were changing, because the colour temperature is closer to daylight, i.e. natural colours, and the light is true to colour.

What light colour or colour temperature in the workshop?

During the day, sunlight corresponds to different colour temperatures and changes during the course of the day, for example, from warm to cold temperatures - By setting the colour temperature on the brennenstuhl® CRI task lights, different lighting conditions can be simulated. Such a function is crucial for reliable surface assessment when painting or polishing. With different light temperatures, e.g. colour fastness and the smallest scratches, dents and cracks on dark or light surfaces can be assessed in the best possible way.

What does a high CRI value mean for LED work lamps?

The Colour Rendering Index (CRI) is a property of artificial light and a measure of the colour fastness of LED light. CRI indicates the quality of the colours rendered by objects under artificial light. To determine CRI values, brennenstuhl® CRI task lights work with 15 R values.

Sunlight has a CRI value of 100, so with our high CRI value for brennenstuhl® CRI special lamps we almost reach the maximum value with the value "96". This means that the colours under this artificial light look almost the same as under natural light.

By gradually adjusting the colour temperature or the number of Kelvin of the working light (with brennenstuhl® CRI lamps in 5 or 3 steps), the light changes from cold white to warm white.

With both functions, you can create the perfect, individual lighting situation for your work in the workshop, when polishing, painting or as a painter. For example, holograms, polishing marks, dents or cracks can already be detected during the process. This eliminates the need for expensive and time-consuming reworking.

Three proven forms of worklight - brennenstuhl® CRI work lamps for detailing, varnishers and painters

brennenstuhl® CRI special lamps have a high CRI value of 15CRI 96 for precise and reliable colour rendering as well as gradual adjustment of the colour temperature or the number of Kelvin of the CRI work light.

The high CRI value and the setting of different light temperatures enable the display of individual and optimal lighting conditions for surface assessment as well as an accurate assessment of colour quality, such as when matching colours or detecting paint defects.
