Description

The USB C charger provides flexible charging options with two USB C ports and one USB A port for smartphones, tablets, many notebooks and other USB devices. When using a single port, USB C1 delivers up to 65W Power Delivery, while USB C2 and USB A each provide up to 12W. The GaN-semiconductor technology enables efficient power transfer with low heat generation and a compact form factor. For safe and reliable operation the fast charger features numerous protection mechanisms: Overcurrent protection limits excessive currents, while short-circuit protection shuts the device off in the event of a short circuit. The overheating protection protects against excessively high temperatures and the overvoltage protection against excessively high input or output voltage. The undervoltage shutdown prevents operation at too low supply voltage, while the overload protection limits the output power during prolonged overload. The soft-start reduces the inrush current and voltage spikes at startup. Additionally the gate protection prevents the maximum allowable gate voltage from being exceeded.
