Description

The USB C charger can power up to four devices simultaneously via two USB C ports with up to 65W PD, one USB A port with up to 18W, and a safety-earthed socket. GaN semiconductor technology enables efficient power delivery with low heat generation and a compact design. The integrated 1.5-metre-long fabric-covered cable provides extra reach, bridges hard-to-reach sockets and brings the charger and ports conveniently within easy reach. To ensure safe and reliable operation, the fast charger features numerous safety mechanisms: overcurrent protection limits excessive currents, whilst short-circuit protection switches the device off in the event of a short circuit. The overheating protection safeguards against excessively high temperatures, and the overvoltage protection guards against excessively high input or output voltages. The undervoltage cut-off prevents operation if the supply voltage is too low, whilst the overload protection limits the output power in the event of a prolonged overload. The soft-start function reduces inrush current and voltage spikes at start-up. In addition, the gate protection prevents the maximum permissible gate voltage from being exceeded.
